Ms. Garrett - Librarian

I am originally from Kentucky, but I spent five years teaching Spanish in a middle/high school in New York City prior to moving to Nashville in 2014.
I’m excited to be a part of the Isaac Litton community and I’m looking forward to working with students and teachers in the classroom as well as the library. I love books, but what I do goes beyond helping students select reading materials that they will enjoy. My primary interest is to teach students about new technology and it's practical implications in their personal and academic lives. I'd like students, teachers, and parents to view me as a helpful resource for the school community and to feel free to visit, call, or email me if they have any questions. If I don't know the answer I can help you find it.
I In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and walking my dogs.
